Mite Cross Ice / Learn to Play Hockey / Mite Instructional

What is Cross Ice? An introductory (Learn to Play Hockey) program for kids with either 1-2 years Learn to Skate experience designed to introduce kids to the game of hockey. The focus is to develop ice hockey skills and competitive team play in a Fun relaxed environment. Coaches will focus on the development of individual core ice hockey skills: skating skills, puck control, stick handling, positioning, passing and shooting. The practices and games are played ACROSS the width of one zone. This increases the pace of play, more handling of the puck and allows skills to develop at a faster pace.
